1. Agreement and licence
When GanttPeek is obtained from Apple, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”) applies to the licensed application and is incorporated here by reference. These terms add product-specific conditions. If they conflict, mandatory law and the Apple Standard EULA control to the extent applicable.
Subject to those terms, Eutopix Labs grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use GanttPeek on Apple-branded devices associated with your App Store purchase and any permitted Family Sharing arrangement. The app is licensed, not sold.
2. What GanttPeek does
GanttPeek is a local, read-only viewer for supported Microsoft Project MPP binary families. It can display and export selected schedule information. It does not edit or save back to MPP, recover passwords, reproduce every Microsoft Project field, verify contractual schedule compliance, or replace the authoring software.
Current core support includes tasks, hierarchy, dates, duration, progress, dependencies, resources, basic assignments, and project properties for verified MPP8, MPP9, MPP12, and MPP14 / Project 16.x files. Password-protected files are rejected. Baselines, real calendar exceptions, custom fields, source critical-path flags, and some assignment details are not currently extracted. Product 2021, 2024, and Microsoft 365 desktop files share a Project 16.x / MPP14 family, so their exact originating edition may not be identifiable.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for having the right to access any file you open, checking important information against the authoritative source, keeping appropriate backups, and using exports lawfully. Do not rely on GanttPeek as the sole basis for safety-critical, legal, financial, construction, procurement, or contractual decisions.
4. Price, payment, and refunds
The price and currency shown by the App Store at purchase are controlling. Apple acts as the storefront and handles payment processing, applicable storefront taxes, receipts, and refund requests under Apple’s terms and applicable law. GanttPeek does not require a separate subscription or Eutopix account. Nothing here limits cancellation, conformity, refund, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available to consumers in the European Union.
5. Ownership and open source
GanttPeek, its design, and its proprietary source are owned by Eutopix Labs or its licensors. The bundled parser helper includes modified open-source software under the GNU LGPL 2.1 or later and other licences. Those components remain governed by their own licence terms, which take priority for the covered code. Corresponding source and notices are included in the app bundle and accessible from the Help menu. Nothing in these terms restricts rights granted by those licences, including permitted modification or reverse engineering for debugging changes to LGPL-covered software.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use GanttPeek to infringe rights, access files without authorization, distribute malware, interfere with the App Store or app security, or misrepresent output as certified by Eutopix Labs or Microsoft. Restrictions do not apply where applicable law or an open-source licence expressly permits the activity.
7. Availability, updates, and support
We may provide fixes and compatibility updates, but cannot guarantee that every future MPP producer variation or macOS release will work immediately. Features may change to improve security, comply with law, or address platform requirements. Support is available at ganttpeek.com/support. The planned one-time purchase includes the purchased version and updates we make available through the App Store; it does not promise a specific future feature or major-version upgrade.
8. Warranty and liability
We provide GanttPeek with the warranties required by applicable law. To the maximum extent law permits, the app and website are otherwise provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that every file or field will parse without error. To the maximum extent permitted, Eutopix Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the app. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited, including for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer protections.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the law of your habitual residence or any court rights available under applicable law. Courts in Warsaw, Poland have non-exclusive jurisdiction; for consumers, statutory jurisdiction rules apply.
10. Trademarks and independence
Microsoft and Microsoft Project are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. GanttPeek is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or certified by Microsoft. References describe file compatibility only. Apple and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc.
11. Changes and contact
