Open-source notices

GanttPeek uses a separate native parser built from open-source software. Its licences remain fully in force.

Bundled corresponding source

The GanttPeek application bundle contains the complete corresponding source used to build its separate mpp-parser helper, including the modified mpxrust source, modification notice, licence, lockfiles, exact vendored Rust dependencies, dependency licence files, and offline Cargo configuration.

After installing the app, choose Help → Open Source Notices. The material is under GanttPeek.app/Contents/Resources/OpenSource/mpp-parser and can be rebuilt with the command documented there.

mpxrust 0.1.0

The helper uses a modified mpxrust 0.1.0, derived from the reading subset of MPXJ, under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or any later version. The Swift app communicates with it through a child process and files; it is not linked into the proprietary Swift executable.

Nothing in GanttPeek’s terms limits the rights granted by the LGPL, including modification and reverse engineering for debugging modifications to the LGPL-covered software.

Other Rust dependencies

Exact versions and checksums are recorded in the bundled Cargo.lock. Every vendored dependency directory includes the licence and attribution material supplied by its author. The release verifier requires the source set and rejects bundles containing Rust build caches, Java artifacts, or the separate commercial parser evaluated during development.

Source request

The source is included with every copy, which is the primary delivery method. If you need help locating the source corresponding to a GanttPeek release, email support@eutopixlabs.io with the app version and build number.
