Open a file

Choose Open Project, press ⌘O, or open an MPP file with GanttPeek from Finder.

Try the sample

Choose File → Explore Sample Project to verify the app without using a private file.

System requirements

macOS 14 Sonoma or later on an Apple-silicon Mac. GanttPeek is read-only and works offline.

Contact support

Typical response target: two business days, Monday–Friday excluding Polish public holidays.

If a file will not open

  1. Confirm the file name ends in .mpp and is no larger than 100 MB.
  2. Move a copy to a local folder and try again. Cloud placeholders must be downloaded first.
  3. Confirm the file is not read-password-protected. GanttPeek does not bypass passwords.
  4. Try the built-in sample. If the sample also fails, restart the Mac and reinstall from the App Store.

What to include in an email

Protect project confidentiality. Do not attach a customer or employer MPP file unless you are authorized and support specifically asks for a minimal test file. A newly created, non-confidential reproduction is preferred.

Known version 1 limits

GanttPeek covers core schedule fields in MPP8, MPP9, MPP12, and MPP14 / Project 16.x files. Baselines, real calendar exceptions, custom fields, source critical-path flags, and some assignment details are not extracted. Exact Project 2021, Project 2024, and Microsoft 365 origin cannot be distinguished within their shared binary family. The app displays a data note when these limits apply.

Exports

Use File → Export Tasks as CSV or File → Export Schedule Report as PDF. Exports are new files; the original MPP is never modified.

Purchases and refunds

Apple handles App Store billing, receipts, Family Sharing availability, and refund requests. Use Apple’s purchase-support process for payment or refund issues. For app behavior, contact Eutopix Labs at support@eutopixlabs.io.
